I'm tired of seeing some of the suicide/violence images in our challneges. Not to say that theses are invalid or poor photos. Why not go ahead and have a challenge for them and perhaps it will cut down on these in the future.
My susggestion is a challenge for depression/violence/sucide.
Anyone got creative ways to off yourself? Nows your chance. |

| these images are part of life. some of us don't stick our heads in the sand at the first sight of an uncomfortable image. go back to reading your LIFE magazine. |

Yes these are part of life. That's why I suggested the challenge. These are also very disturbing images and should not be comfortable to most of us. The problem is there are lots of people with these images in their minds and it needs to be expressed, talked about or externalized in some fashion. This is just an oppurtunity. |

| i think it would be an interesting topic, but not universal enough. perhaps a "stress/angst" challenge would be better. neat idea though |

i would prefer to let folks let their minds see their depression through on their own terms, than force them to try to express it in the short term... because of some sort of challenge
and in whatever form/way they choose to express/represent it is fine with me.
