My picture


is just one position below

- thats flattering ;)

But honestly had my picture been voted down for poor lighting(yes the left side is darker) or bad compostion I would have been more happy than saying "torn apart" does not fit into "Conflict", but again like I commented on the raptor - perceptions vary.

Thanks to everyone who said it was a nice idea and thanks to the special one who requested a print - I will send you a large format file which you can print

The conflict challenge had at least 2 self-admitted jokesters. (Way to go, Jacko!)

I can feel your pain, Tarique.

I suspect that John's image is so good that some people just couldn't bring themselves to mark it down. Others, still, don't really care about keeping the topic. I gave you a 4 (because the image wasn't very attrative to me) and John a 3 (because the image was so good I couldn't bring myself to give a 1).

I noticed that people without cameras gave my picture much lower scores than those with cameras. Still, I did better than I expected.

Yeah , when that happens than you know how bad the voters are!

Here it is, election day in California and now again tonight I totaly disagree with the choices others made. The photos I liked finished nine or lower. Most of the election went against my vote too. Sometimes I wish for enlightened despots. sigh. Last week all my favorites were in the top twenty, this week, yuck.
