Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS

Hi all,

Long time since I've last posted or participated in a competition! The 80 hour work weeks are over and I'm trying to put the little photography skills I have towards a good cause. I'm helping out my friends at the local humane society to raise awareness on the issue of street dogs on this island. The end product will be a 60 second slideshow with probably about 12-14 pictures (with some music thrown in, etc.). It will then be pitched to larger groups/companies for funding, etc..

I have uploaded my set to flickr (need to be able to show it ppl easily, etc.) and wouldn't mind receiving some feedback on my first trip out. I shot this with an 85mm prime (arrived yesterday, very happy) and hope to get out more next week for some stronger shots.

Let me know what you think, which ones you feel have the most impact or those that don't work, etc.. I've only uploaded what I consider the best from this 3 hour tour as there are so many more dogs out there...

Some nice shots in there. My fav is the one sitting on his butt with what looks like a smile on his face.
Hmmm - strays could make an interesting challenge theme.

I think there all at a high quality. I especially like how all the dogs look like they have their own personalities. really enjoyed the one called "hanging Out Solo..." the can was a nice touch. :)
