Yeah thanx exactly like that except the publish symbol not the copyright
P not C ;)

There's probably only a few special fonts which contain that symbol. If you want, let me know what font you'd like to use as a base and I'll make you a separate version of the font containing that character.

Note that it's only used to cover the copyright on a sound recording, not the underlying material (at least in the USA).

There isn't one ascii character like that, I even checked the entire table twice, if i overlooked it i must really be tired :)

Hmmmm interesting, I need it for a CD label project...
That's nice of you to offer GeneralE thanx a lot, Century Gothic is the font I'm using, size 7pt.
I should learn how to do that myself...

I'll post a link to a TrueType version by tomorrow. Size doesn't matter -- it's a font. I will just have to figure out a convenient code to use, and maybe sacrifice a little-used character.

It's pretty easy/automatic if you have a program called Fontographer (from Macromedia) -- it's just kind of expensive if you only use it rarely.

The ? does exist. I can reproduce it on the Mac via the Character Palette. On Windows, well, it beats me. Edit: This (DPC) textbox, apparently, can't read it. It inserts the (above) question mark in lieu of it.

That's because it isn't part of the web-standard ISO-8859-1 (ISO Latin-1) character set.

The MS Reference 1 font for Win 95 and Win 98 have it. It's mapped in the same place as (r). Just select the R and change to MS Reference 1 font.

Click here to get the font

I see these other folks have saved me some work! Let me know if you still want a custom version in the other font.
