I was wondering if there are any specific methods to achieving such rich and detailed photographs of home interior/exterior? Is Jeff just using long exposures and filters? Any help would be much appreciated!!

I know a guy who does this type of work...

He gave a talk to our camera club on it a couple years ago. There is an exact and precise science to lighting an composing those photographs. Some of them are long exposures and some are metered in different areas of the scene where lights are on and off for different portions of the exposure. It's a lot of work.
