i just ordered..sniff... a canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens from buydig.. 1-2 day shipping so i should have it by saturday
im shakeing and about to pass out.. oh dear....
im seriously tearing up...not even kidding... and i just want to say...
i love you mom

and yes it looks like Im going to have to replace my 17-40L as after its little swim in sept some of the coatings on the lenses must have been damaged as its acting funny in certain lighting conditions...

| ah...you could probobly ebay it for a fraction of the price and someone could pay a ridiculous ammount to have it fixed.. |

that is a thought but I just couldnt bring myself to doing something like that to someone knowing that the lens has faults... Its just something I can not do...

| agreed.. a monopod is on my list of items...as well as some lights... by then canon will ave the 1-1000mm f/1L IS II and it will cost 32346234 and ill have to get that of course lol |

heehee. i'm looking at a canon 75-300 f/4-5.6... my family will give me money for it for christmas and i'll cover the rest later. i'm not crying yet, but i may when i get my hands on it! i'm not sure if yours is supposed to be better than that one, but a good lens is still a good lens, and it's mostly about the photographer. yeah, i felt like i was in the big leagues when i got my rebel. i wanted to go home and get it out right away! anyways, congrats to you!
