This was just posted on a CG Rendering forum I belong to, pics are real and really cool and some of the best Ive seen yet of the Shuttle and space station in space!!

Anyone know what landmass that is below in the second photo. Almost looks like New Zealand.

It appears to me to be New Zealand from Christchurch (bottom left of picture) to Wellington (top right of picture).

You can get really clear photos shooting in a vacuum. :-)

Yeah, I think up until recently they were shooting with Kodak dSLRs with lenses ranging from about 50-800mm. I think lately they've acquired a pool of Nikon equipment.

wow those are pretty amazing. The real question here is whether NASA is Team Canon or Team Nikon. I suspect it is the former.
