Well, I didn't get a chance to shoot any of the ideas I had for the Letting Go Challenge and I'm tired, so I'm going to go get on my PJ's, lay in my bed, watch reruns of "Who's Line Is It Anyway" and laugh myself to sleep. ;)

Well, I'm letting go bc I dont have any ideas. Am interested to see what others came up with so i'll stay up to see the resutls! Good luck to those who did enter!

Had a great idea, then realized a fart doesn't show up on a photo!
Seriously, I had not a single good idea for this one, prolly for lack of time to think about it... yeh, that's a good story.
Ahh well, I'm burnt, just finished a two-hour conference call with Singapore, time for bed.

| If you have it checked in your preferences, the stats will show up on the left sidebar while voting is going on... which will begin at midnight server time/place. |

Go to your preferences, make sure the box is checked to "show statistics during voting". you will get an update once an hour as a registered user.
As a member, you would have an update link that allows you to update at will.

Hopefully emotional struggle and the likes work well for the title. *shrug* I really don't know what kind of photo is appreciated most around here, so I'm a bit anxious. =P

This is my first challenge in awhile. I shot about 120 photos for it and I agree, it's time to Let Go of Letting Go.

I took this photo, personally, I liked the idea. But it was too imperfect for DPC. Its having the leaf as a metaphor for someone you're letting go. My hand is a bit blurry and the scotch tape is visible on the end of the leaf.
It fits the challenge as an idea, but it won't get a good score because of the imperfections.

Well, I actually took about 10-12 shots for this challenge, and came out with 3 that were decent. Have entered one. The idea was not all that creative, and probably will not be unique so I do not expect my photo to score well....but it's only the second challenge that I've actually taken pics for, and it was fun to finally find the time to just do it. Hopefully more challenges are in my future.

I had lots of ideas, but little time to try them all. I went for the idea I had the means to carry out, but I'm not too optimistic...
Anyway I'm here for the fun and the learning, and I'm getting tons of both. |
