Billy, thanks for posting the model release for me. That release should also be good for minors. It has a parental section.
I've got my shoot next weekend. A 20-something survivor mom and 14 month old daughter.
Karma, I love your idea.
JoJo... you rock! |

Have we set a deadline to have all the photos turned in? I will be calling the publishers on Monday to get exact print dates..etc... so I want to make sure I have as much info as possible.

Deadline for photos will be November 20th (I know that is only 2 weeks from today, but we have got to get rolling) I will have the layout and design for the pages uploaded here within 72 hours, and I can have sample calendars overnighted out by the following week. That gives us 3 weeks to take orders, ordering 1 batch per week. All of the calendars that you get orders for will be sent to you, you will give them to the customers.
I will need everyone to PM me their info (address, name, biz name, website, etc...) before the 20th as well.
I am asking rossbilly to handle the monetary side of this because these proceeds will be added to what we already have :)
On a lighter note, I found my model last night :) hehe She is a surprise!!! bwahahhahhahahaaaaaa

First shoot in the bag.
Sure about the 8x10 crop? Just doesn't look like some of the calendars around the house, but maybe I have some oddball calendars.

gwe21 is having the calendars printed because she can get the best price. I assumed 8x10 because that is the usual size, iddn't it?
We will know more about that once she sees the printers.
We have a blog!!
It is here: //calendarsforthecure.blogspot.com
It will be updated with a paypal button and pictures once we get set :)
I will be PMing everyone with some info that might come in handy ;)
WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I am excited!!! I have a LOT of people interested in purchasing one already and they haven't even seen it!!! :) |

I'm sorry I missed this thread in the earily stages. I would have loved the chance to shot for this cause. Breast Cancer has touched us in our lives over the years and we are in the process of losing a very close friend to breast cancer right now and watching her die and not being able to do anything for her is breaking our hearts. We are all touched in our lives at one point or another by cancer in all its many formes and anything that can be done to aid in research is well worth it. We would love to purchase one so Please keep us informed.
Thank you to all who were able to shot this wonderful calender (with the amazing photographers it could be nothing eles but wonderful)for such a fantastic cause.
MAX! |

Leroy, thanks for the model release......I just stuck Whiskey Spring Studios on it for this event.
I am a legal entity if an unintentional non-profit.....LOL!!!
I'm assuming that we should mail/scan/send in our releases so that the printer and all are happy?
To where?
I'm just going to try to get a couple different shots and angles so I can leave the final cropping open for sizing.
You will let us know the size and orientation, right???????
Just checking in so nobody thinks I got lost.....8>)

The blog is a good idea.
I've already got major interest in people wanting to order mass quantities to sell at their own awareness events, so hopefully the interest holds when the product is in hand. |

Jeb, as long as everyone has the model releases, everything should be fine. More of a formality than anything.
FWIW, I'd just shoot a pic of it or scan it and send it along with the calender photo.

Oh Erick, we know you're looking forward to it - just promise to take out your nipple piercings first, ok?
Hey, why don't we attempt some SP's to post in the Blog?

SPs are a good idea Billy!! I do think people should see the photographers and get to know them a little. Also, you guys should feel free to link to your websites in the blog and link to the blog on your websites :) |

Hey, it looks like I may be the downfall of the project. I have yet to find anyone that wants to do the shoot. That's with a post on Myspace, facebook and around the various healthcare facilities in Atlanta. Anyone with any last minute ideas?
Help appreciated!

If it doesn't work out I might have shoe-in shots for Feb/Valentine's Day. |
