I thought a few of you might check out this thread. I was just messing around with my light tent and strobes and a few veggies from the garden.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking that I should desaturate the red a little. The peppers are so red in looks like a cranked the saturation, but it's natural.

I left a comment then read the rest of your post - doh!

I think the colors look pretty good, but maybe they'd seem a little more natural if you had the chiles on a plate, rather than just against the black background?

idk about a plate, maybe if they were left in the garden and picture taken there, and maybe use photoshop to darken everything but the peppers. nice name btw

Last time I had a threesome in a tent.... well...

I like it, although I think I'd prefer a bit deeper DoF. Lighting looks good.

The fade on the type is too extreme, IMO. Talking about the saturation, it ain't just the red, it's the stems also. You may say "straight out of camera", but if you're shooting jpg then that's dependent on your in-camera saturation setting, and it looks a tad hight to me. I actually don't mind the reds, but the stems look a little amped...

Okay okay so you got me to look too (I normally dont to tell the truth LOL). How about this for the font

I agree that I dont find the red too much in fact would like to see a bit more sharpness in the sharp bits and a bit more contrast.
