The total sales tax in Ontario is 6% GST (A federal goods & services tax),
plus the PST (Provincial Sales Tax) which varies from Province to Province, from Zero in Alberta to 10% in some Provinces.
With regards to the taxes on earnings there are again two taxes, and are as shown hereunder:

At the current rates, the "Tax Freedom Day" in Canada for the 2006 Taxation Year fell on the 170th day of the year as shown here:
Canada 170 47% 19 June 2006 ..The 47% shown depicts the tax burden percentage.

yup. it's got two scenes from the movie on it, one of which was him holding the car above his head. I think I got it in about 1980. |
