Does anyone have any positives or negatives to share about refurbished batteries? It's a Sony specifically that is being considered. It's from Sony, and in their packaging. $15 vs. $60 makes a difference during this holiday season.

What do you think?

If it really is from the original manufacturer, I see no reason to avoid it. I assume what they are doing is to replace the cells and reuse any electronics and the case. Makes perfect sense to me. Bear in mind, I'm assuming it's the OEM doing this, I'd be skeptical if it was a third party.
