Only prerequisite for being a team member is that you use a Pentax (and therefore have a mind of your own rather than being another Canikon user)
Any takers accepted on a first come first serve basis... |

When I was out shooting yesterday, a D70 shooter looked at my camera quizzically and said "Pentax? I've never really heard of that, thats not a popular brand is it?" :-P

I actually agree with this. Since maybe 0.1% of photographers actually make more on photography than they spend on it, the rest of us are just throwing our cash away by buying lenses that are really only necessary for those that make a profit with them, thus making all photographers, Pentaxians included, idiots. |

Couldn't agree more. Embrace the idiocy. |

Darn, I missed the "other" Team Pentax thread. Oops. Anyway - they're full, so maybe it's not an Oops afterall.
The Pentaxians so far are
confirmed Blink_Too_Fast
confirmed flavioalima
confirmed zhgandyn
invited Pano
invited shamer
invited mike_D
emply slot
We're looking forwards to having a full confirmed team with which to compete. Only days left to join now. Join here and be assured that you're not in a team with Canoniks.

A lot of newbies on this team. Hope you have thick skin, as you won't get the same "Great shot" feedback you get at DPR or PentaxForums unless the image really deserves it. But if you read between the lines on the comments you receive, you will find a few nuggets to help you improve. I think you will have a good time here and good luck to all.
Tim
Edit: Read the challenge rules carefully. There are 4 different editing rules and they are very different. If you don't follow the rules assigned to the challenge you enter, you could be DQ'd and that will hurt the team score. Also note, registered members can only enter one of the two Exclusive Open challenges each week, while paid members can enter 1 open challenge and the member challenge each week. Members are also allowed to enter the monthly Free Study challenges but I'm not sure if they count in the DPL.

Well we all have to start somewhere, myself being a prime example.
Look forward to some 'nuggets'. |

No, these nuggets. Not all comments are helpful but they will tell you that something just doesn't look right in the image. Comments like "over sharpened" when no sharpening was applied. Ok, it wasn't over sharpened but something doesn't look right. Remember, the voter has no idea what processing you did or any other details, just the image and a title.
