I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I did not find anything related in the archives so I'll give it a shot.
The Free Study challenge has a submission time span of one month and usually 400+ plus entries but only one week to vote. As a result, the first week of each month has almost twice as many photographs available for voting as any other week.
Would it make sense to allow 15 days or even a full month of voting period for the Free Study challenges (or for any other challenges that have longer submission periods)?

I believe it would be good to have a longer voting period for the free study. 2 weeks would be nice I believe... (A month would probably be too long)

I'd be open to a two week voting period, but don't think it would make much of a difference in total votes received. Worth a try though to prove me right. ;-) |

Most people go crazy waiting for voting to be completed in one week. You would be glueing them to the update button for two weeks.
Maybe thats a good thing, then we could all get our submissions in for the next challenge while they are sidetracked. |

I think a two-week period would be nice for ANY challenge with over... say... 400 entries(?)
