I recently had the opportunity to attend the 2nd annual Malta International Fireworks Competition. They had teams from Austria, China, and you guessed it, Malta.
Here are a few of the shots I got.
In the near future, these and others will hopefully be shown at //www.thefireworkschannel.com. Please let me know what you think...

Nice images. Love shooting fireworks.
These events are great fun. A friend of a friend's dad belongs to these guys and we went to one in Wisconsin a couple years back.
They started the show with a wall of fireworks that sounded like you were sitting inside a jet engine at full thurst (well what I would imagine that would be like). Then they would introduce each participant and their firework of choice, then they'd launch it.
It was really fun when they had to break for a bit while they put out the fire on the distant hill lol, you could actually see people running around on the hill putting it out. Even had one explode just out of the tube, luckily no one got hurt...just woke up.
Not only was it fun and LOUD but it was there that I learned the importance of spare batteries lol. I ran out just before the actual finale...pissed me off. |

Thanks for the comments. And yes, dandelions have always been my favorite, especially when they aren't weeds... ;)
