From Rules: //www.dpchallenge.com/challenge_rules.php

"Spot-Editing: Absolutely no spot-editing is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to drawing tools, dodging/bluring tools, and cloning tools..."

Can someone elaborate on what "Spot Editing" includes within a editing program such as Paint Shop or Adobe PhotoShop?

Thanks!

Spot editing (Use of certain tools to selectively change pixels):

Marguee
Lasso
Magic Wand
Airbrush
Paintbrush
Rubber Stamp
Eraser
Pencil
Blur
Dodge
Pen
Paint Bucket
Eyedropper

This tools can't be used because they will affect parts of a picture selectively.

There are many other things in Photoshop that can affect the "whole" picture and thus allowed.

If you're not sure about a certain tool or effect you can "private message" one of the "site counsel" and they should be able to help.

And... the legal edits must be applied to the entire image,... not a part of, section of, or pixel of.
