Hey everybody, I'd like to introduce Melissa ( melissa111083)
I met Melissa and her mother several weeks ago while I was getting some shots in the Everglades. She was very interested in photography and the shots that I was getting of the alligators and herons. I told her about this wonderful community here at DPC and she looked it up when she returned home to Massachusetts.
Since then she has registered as a user, kept in touch with me via PM and this weekend she became a member!!! I have fowarded to her The Unauthorized Beginner's Guide to DPC by greatandsmall and warned her about  Art Roflmao.
She has uploaded a ton of photos to her portfolio and is looking forward to hearing our comments and suggestions. She is interested in learning more about photography, improving her skills, upgrading her equipment eventually, and possibly selling her work someday.
So please, welcome Melissa to DPC and toss some comments her way regarding her portfolio.

Welcome Melissa....I hate to tell you this..but you weren't fully warned about all the nasties. Don't ever mention cheese or you will very quickly find out all about the 'cheeseman'....aka fotomann_forever!!
Don't say I didn't warn you!!!!!
But the rest of us are sweet as pie...innocent little souls who are here to make the place look pretty.

| Thank you for all the warm welcomes! This seems like a great site and I'm looking forward to using it more often. I'm still in the process of making my profile and portfolio, so check back for updates. As Robert said, I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, or opinions just to help me learn more about photography. Thanks again! |

You take images of subjects near and dear to my heart - Landscapes, butterflies, waterfalls, etc. ... Best wishes for a pleasant experience at DPC.
