The folks over at bludomain.com where nice enough to grant me one of their interfaces on account of using some images for a new website template preview they have coming up this year. (Check out the company, very well put together and great people)
Anyway I thought I'd post the new site here to get some feedback. I'm in the process of uploading a few video right now. Eventually there will be a news blog and a nicer splash page.
I decided it was best to have a gallery section and another section to distinguish commercial work from personal work. I have a very busy next few weeks shooting bands so the commercial gallery will be constantly growing from now on.

You had me at Hello.
It still amazes me how pure your eye is for concept and execution of everything you do. The site is clean, void of frills and annoying technology that might only serve to distract from all your hard earned artwork. Good choice from the bludomain guys. Site is easy to navigate and very pro, plus your work looks great against all that black. |

The site is great, right to the point. Your choice of pictures is excellent, and the presentation is one of the most professional I've ever seen.

Looks great but I must confess to always feeling slightly irritated when websites open new windows when I follow links within them rather than sticking within the existing window - exception being when I'm clearly opening a popup. Might be just me though.
Also, that fade to white and then to the next image transition doesn't work well for me at all. Again, personal preference, so others may love it!
Otherwise, looks great!

It's not just you :) Love the site, hate the fact that it presumes to take control of my browser. Being asked to "disable any popup blockers" doesn't sit well with me either. Why should I trust joeyL.com to do something that I've went to the trouble to install software to block?
Nice stuff, Joey, as always, but the mechanics of the site don't sit well with me.

| The site looks really really great! My only problem is that I waited quite a while and never got some pages to load..I tried with my wireless and my cable. But I could've just been having a slow day..tends to happen :-) |

'ello
I want to make new windows pop up because I have the gallery and commercial gallery sections. Since it is a flash based site, hitting 'back' on a browser would be an issue and I'd like both galleries to be explored. I know this might piss off some but I think it inevitably for the better. thanks for the comments everyone |

Site is welldone by bludomain that has to be said, as for all of their other site's they make! You style fits correctly to this design you choosed so well done to both ;-)

Your site is great, and I love your photos. You seem to do alot of textures overlaid over the photo. What exactly do you do to get that effect?
