Hi everyone, this is my first post and I will appreciate if you critique this photos or make some comments.

On the first one... I like the lighting and pose (though I wish I could either see more of her left eye, or not at all). I wonder if a little higher crop would help, also cropping off the left side a bit. My reasoning is as follows: her top is so white that it's distracting, and I think you want me to look at her face before I look at her chest. Similar rational for the left side of the image. I find myself alternately looking at the window and at her slightly messy hair. If you'd like, I can post an cropped version of the image to illustrate what I have in mind. Oh, one other thing, it looks like her upper arm (on her left side) is slightly deformed by having pressed against the metal.

On the second image, I like the lighting, interesting angle, crop, etc. You might try selectively sharpening the eyes to make them more of a focal point.

Thanks for all your comments dwterry, all are very valuable. I want to learn from people who really know about photography, and I know I'm in the right place.

About editing the first photo, please be my guest, I will wait for the results.

You can just post the links to your images using the little button above the message box that looks like it has a globe in it.
