Hey.
How do you make a short "movie" out of several exposures. For instance if I had photos taken once every five minutes of a flower blooming or something, is there a way to make this into a little movie in Photoshop? or does it require a different program.
Thanks!

Yes. Animation. It's done in Image Ready.
On the File menu choose 'Edit in Image Ready'.

Timelapse photography is a growing hobby with digital still camera, and you should have a lot of fun. First off, I'd recommend not using photoshop for this sort of work. It works well for one image at a time, but it's a crude and unwieldy tool for working with animation. After Effects works well: it's basically photoshop, but moving. My recommended software, though, would be apple's Shake. Expensive, if you're into paying for software, but well worth it. Once you've got your images into either of these programs, it's a simple task to export a movie in any format you care to use. |
