I was bored and a friend of mine is into digital scrapbooking. I figured I'd give it a try. A few sites have free 'papers' and such for personal use. I figure digital scrapbooking and digital photography go hand in hand as both need photographs and Photoshop knowledge!
I'd love to see what others have put together! I have so much real scrapbooking stuff but have only done one page in 4 years...LOL.

Nice job! I like #1, but #2 is even better. I used to do this type of stuff way back in the 286 PC era, when a color printer cost $3,000. Lots o' fun and no mess to clean up. :) |

Those look great. :-)
I don't know how long it took you to do it in photoshop, but I can almost guarantee you, it'll take much less than half the time if you use Fotofusion by lumapix.com. Check it out, it's free to try.

I've been doing digital scrapbooking straight from scratch for several years now. :) Your layouts are very cute. Do you make your own elements, as well?

Thank you all :) You should see how good some of the people on the scrapbooking sites are. There is some amazing stuff!
DW- I have heard of Fotofusion before. It really wasn't much trying to do it myself :) The free transform tool makes quick work of it all.
kat- I downloaded some freebie elements to try. I would love to know/learn how to make my own elements but I have NO CLUE how...LOL Do you have some of your stuff online?

Hm, I think my best one (to ME, anyway ;) never got uploaded. I'll post a link in a few.
ETA: Okay, this is page 2 of a 4-page layout on my great grandfather (I'm scrapbooking my family history. I've researched WAAAY back but have scrapped all the way back to great-great grandfather so far!)

On this one, I got the pen and inkwell and the picture of the fire engine off the internet. The background "paper", paper clips (color modified by me) and pattern for the written pages were parts taken from digital scrapbooking kits. I did the newspaper article and the Western Union telegram completely from scratch...I'm talking, white screen. :D The envelope was made from one of the papers in the kit and with PSP brushes and a postage stamp from that era I found on the internet. The people photos were old family photos I scanned in.
What do you think? :-D
