I'm looking for anyone to go to my site and click around and see if you have any ideas or suggestions of what I could do better or things that I'm doing now that I shouldn't be doing.

-I created everything basically with Golive CS2, and I use Simpleviewer as my gallery resource.

-I want to add shopping cart functionality to my site, but am not sure of the quickest and easiest way to do that.

-And I have read several topics online about search engine placement but some of the stuff is really technical. Does anyone have any regular guy advice for me on that?

Thanks so much, do not be afraid to criticize anything, I'm opening myself up here. Suggestions for improvement on the lacking areas would be great too :)

Josh it's very nice, great shots, fast and easy to navigate. Beautiful black and whites.
I'm only struck by the >Josh takes photos, >Josh travels..
why have this in the third person? Just seems weird to me, but that's only my 2cents.

hehe yeah i'm new at trying to sell myself I guess..call me a copycat :) I think I chose to do it that way because I had seen it done before on other sites. but you're right, it does sound odd...thanks!

completely agree, I would also check the grammar and cut back on the image sizes for section headers as these are nearly 200kb, it dont take too long for a 8mb connection I have but you still gotta think of those less fortunate net users out there... The imatges I mention are B&W and less than 800 pixels so should size down nicely to 40kb without too much loss if you have Photoshop use the save for web feature.

My only other comment ( and I have done this myself for a web launch before ) is are all those wedding examples from just one wedding? The Wiens - Fowler wedding - I think you would be better just having one wedding gallery until it gets too big with say 5 really good shots from each one you do.

Hope this helps.

I will change the size of my page headers...thanks! I think my thinking when I was creating the site was that by using simpleviewer I'm basically marketing myself to those with high speed internet since Simpleviewer is a memory and bandwidth hog. This is good because I need a list of things to work on tomorrow :)

About the weddings, I totally agree...that IS the only wedding I have done to date, but I think I'll take your advice on that as well.

I recently did do a corporate event photoshoot and another question I have is should I have just one Events section that is composed of weddings and corporate events or completely separate the 2?

Like justine, I like the site. But, do you really need your title on every page? I'd like to not have to scroll after the page opens. Other than that little peeve, I like it quite a bit.

Agree ... but I wouldn't worry too much about slow connections if it were me but you definitely want to optimize for web ... I like the big, confident image sizes though.
I also think you should use capitalization after periods. It might seem cool but it could appear that you haven't paid attn to detail.

BTW, I think the home page is awesome and the images are absolutely great - all of the first images are stellar - the girl sleeping on the couch is brilliant --- the llama too.
