This was my pick for blue - obviously I suck at guessing how DPCers will score images.

idnic I liked that one ---and also this one.
I thought several were very good and really captured the theme well. I didn't enter but thought it was a fun challenge with a lot of good shots.

Quite a few on my list that didn't make it. Here's some of them -
- 53rd place, what a travesty.

Hey Robert thanks for the thought. This photo still tops all my challenge submissions and am happy with the score. Thanks again for the votes and comments |

This one was nice, but I found the red tint to be a little much on it. Great composition and I still scored it very high, but I think some curves adjustment or saturation changes would have helped it.

Agreed completely. It was nice to see a refreshing take on the challenge and the quality of the image is superb.

This was one of my 10's, can't believe it scored so low (50th)
Others I thought would place higher:

I thought this shot deserved much more. |

Some of the best in the challenge are the black & white and they scored pretty well. Notable high scores included beautiful work by - jmsetzler, e301, hotpasta, Falc, c_rosney, TommyMoe21, yantski, PhotoRyno, Johnnyflash, graphicfunk and others.
Lower than 5.5 b&w that I also enjoyed included:

I didn't give any 10s in this challenge. My top picks were all way underrated:

I saw a lot of great photos in this challenge, these are the ones that I narrowed down to 10s.

there were many great photos in this challenge, but I thought mine was really underrated....
I actually shot a real train in a country that hasn't had trains for the past 100 years, and back then there were only one train going from the harbour to the coal storage.
and I got some comments on cloning away some cars in the bg, when editing the image I thought it was basic editing.... |

Thanks everyone. I got a lot of comments on the tint be it some thought to much red some too much yellow. Shows the importance of a calibrated monitor, this picture looked nicely balanced on my monitor at home, but on my monitor at the office it appeared to have more of a red tint. Once I saw the difference I decided it was time to take to time to carefully calibrate my monitor at home.
