I shot a wedding last weekend and accidentally reformated a card that I had not uploaded yet. I have not shot over the card.....what should I do? Is there any image recovery programs that is really really good?
I am in panic mode right now. Can the images be saved if I reformatted??

google "image recovery software" or "card recovery software". Sorry I can't remember the name of the free version I used, but yes, you may be able to recover all files.

Sorry, I know that wasn't any help. I really only meant it if you couldn't recover the files anyway.
...or try this (taken from any number of sitcom plots I grew up on): Get some friends to dress up and restage the wedding. Shoot all pics from the back and tell the clients that's your "style". They'll never even know.
...come to think of it, these plots are ALWAYS exposed on those sitcoms. So...nevermind.

I need a good laugh right now!
I am trying to recover...so far no luck and a family member who was in the wedding party was dying...it just gets better and better.
I better run fast and far!

| Files are recoverable, even from a re-formatted card. One program that works is RescuePro. I don't know if there's a free version but even if there isn't it would be a business expense and the program would be good to have around. |
