I've never shot RAW until this evening. So, I took some shots of airplanes and brought them home and tried to open them in Photoshop CS2. I can see the thumbnails fine in PS' Browser. However, if I try to open one (xxxx.mrw), I get an error that says the file can't be opened because it's the "wrong kind of document". Looked in PS' Help Area and it mentions that CS2 has a Camera Raw Plugin that should pop up as soon as you try to open up a raw file.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the link. I followed the instructions. I'm a Network Engineer as my day job, so I know my way around technical documentation. :) Now when I try to open the file, I get a message: Could not complete your request because this version of Photoshop does not supply the services required by this plug-in module. My version is Photoshop CS2 v.8
On my laptop, I have v.9 and it workds like a charm there. I'll just upgrade it on my desktop.
Thanks!

You have CS1 version 8.
Only CS2 supports raw.

Download something like Raw Shooter Essentials to convert it before you take it into PS. |

Okay I've got CS2 v9 now. :) Converting was going to be my next hurdle.
I'll download the Raw Shooter Essentials and take a look at it.
Thanks everyone.
