I realize Photoshop is a super software package, but has anyone found any other similar software maybe not so expensive...Something that can read RAW? |

Some people might say Photoshop Elements.
But really, Photoshop doesn't have to be expensive. It can be free, thanks to the internet. Though I do not condone such activities. In my younger days, however!

Not so expensive?...well, Gimp is free. I haven't used it in a couple years, but I know plenty of people that still do use it and they seem to be happy.
I'm not sure about its RAW capabilities though, but a quick Google "Gimp+RAW" search finds a couple possible plug-ins.

Heck yeah... it's the same place you can get free photos.
Just remember, what goes around, comes around...

Gimp is free and is a great program. I know there is a RAW plugin for it, but not sure how well it works.
For that, you could use Picasa or Rawshooter Essentials.
