My husband is a huge fan of the band and posted an entry in his LJ with the same title as this thread - I guess it's a poignant/ obvious choice!
Seems he had a troubled life. Hope he's at peace now.

R.I.P. -may the tunes ring loud and clear, and the song never end.
P.S.- A nice write up indeed skiprow, I have adored Pink Floyd for over 15 years now, and never knew that stuff.
