| I have been in back to back challenges since late march this year and have had a constant access to the update button, even sometimes 2-3 shots the same week but now I have not got an entry in and the lack of the update button is killing me! What the heck am I supposed to do with my time now at work? Actually WORK??? Any suggestions? |

well you could always pick up a hobby at work...like chair racing or paper clip jumping

I too am Update button-less at work. I'm doing a huge scanning project, which is fine, except there's about 25min of downtime after each scan as the equipment processes and creates the file.
I stagger my time at DPC with trips to Wikipedia. I just let it chose a random article and read it, then use the hyperlinks within to move to another. You end up reading some strange articles that way, and I always find it interesting to learn new things.
Not quite as intense as the Update, but sanity-preserving.

One of the perks of paid membership :D
Actually, it's an arthritis-inducing button that forces us to check our scores every 30 seconds to 2 minutes rather than waiting a WHOLE hour, and is the most addicting thing known to man. |

I wonder which one is easier... quit smoking, or quit "update" buttoning!!!... i think I just created a new word :P
Whenever I realize I am in that "black hole", I take my camera and shoot pictures around... anything and everything... and they keep me busy :)
