Hey all,

on my site //www.tmosleyphotography.com
i want to creat a header that blends in with the site better, right know it looks like a block sitting on top,

can someone please help me make a header

I'm at work so I don't have a bunch of fonts but a transparent header might work better on the gradient.

i have been trying to make a transparent one, but when i upload it. something happens and it make the transparent white,

can you tell me what you did maybe so i can give it a whirl

Sure. Created a new file with transparent background. Typed the words. Did "Save for web" - made sure the "gif" and "transparency" options were selected and tada. :)

i dont know why but whenever i upload the header it takes the transparent and makes it a color,

any web pros here can elaborate on why this happens

Are you using save for web and choosing gif?

HURRAY HURRAY !!!!! I got it to work, i dont know what i did, must have forgot an optiong,

DIGITALPINS that looks really cool, how did you do that, thats reall coool

I love illustrator had nothing to do a work so I did that really really quick in illustrator than just save it as a jpg and a little edit in photoshop and presto.

the new header is looking good

i dont have illistrator,

in photoshop, can you save for web and make transparent

what do you guys think, i looks a little pixelated, but not too bad,

i think i just might stick with yours digital.

I like the look, try downsizing a bit and see if the pixelation is reduced
