My Texture lady, Rosalinda won first place in last month's people's category competition at betterphoto. I never would have taken the shot were it not for the texture challenge here. Thanks.

BTW...the first place prize is a Tamrac Velocity sling bag. Since I am here in Bangkok, they said that they will ship it at my own expense. Is it worth it? How much do you think will the shipment cost?

I didnt look through all the winners - didnt mean to exclude anyone.
Congrats to all of you! I was just tickled to have been a finalist and knew I wouldn't go any further - not with the more talented folks like those of you who did win.

Another dpc'er I saw among those prize winners was Neil Shapiro, our own nshapiro, who took a Second in Nature & Landscapes. WTG Neil.
Apologies to any others I may have missed. Don't know everyone by their real name.
Edit: Found another. Edwin Loyola, who goes by imagesloyola here, won a Second in Travel & Place. WTG Edwin.

Did everyone get the notice that you won? I didn't get one.
Usually it contains information on collecting the prize--for second place winners that's another year of premium gallery time.
Just wondering if I should patiently wait, or send a note to them?
