Take a picture that would serve as convincing evidence in a trial, and title the picture the crime that goes with it. Catch: The subject cannot be a gun or a knife.

Any thoughts?

You know, it's suprisingly difficult to get someone to model as a corpse. They never look quite dead enough, and it's frustrating. haha. A friend of mine is a coroner, but unfortunately, the process involved in getting permission to take pictures of the bodies is such a pain that it's almost not worth it.

Almost not worth it? That means you like it enough to go through trouble to engage in this little pleasure of yours? Coupled with your handle, I'm glad I don't live near you.

Dude,

That's the first thing I've seen in several months that had me laughing my butt off. That's a classic pic for a challenge like the one suggested.

I like this challenge suggestion. Good idea.

I can see it now...bloody knives and guns...if this is a challenge it will be the first time I purposely enter a macro of a flower knowing it won't fit the challenge simply in protest to adding more voilence to the site!!!!!!!!!!

Can you read?

Catch: The subject cannot be a gun or a knife.

Hmmm... Lots of pictures of shiny / glass objects with smudges titled Fingerprints.

Lets see what else we can have
1)Rope peices
2)Broken glass
3)Body outlines on floor with lots of ketchup
4)Cut fingers, pinna, penis (Oops! do we have Bobbit here?)
5)Dug up graves, mud encrusted bones
6)Ear buds (??! :-0 )
7)Lots of that yellow tape you have in USofA

All dull and boring - no wonder I left the job...

And I will give it a rating of 10!

IMO A flower will fit the challenge.

great idea for a challenge, i'd be giving extra marks for shots that don't look like set-ups, the grittier the better.

To fit the challenge, it wouldn't necessarily have to depict a violent crime. It could be something as simple as a shot of someone jaywalking.
