Well you know, I was always willing to reform, if I could see any profit in it. But the only profit I could ever see in it was the heavenly pleasure of giving up the reform and going back to smoking again.
--Mark Twain
Today, of course, we find other profit motives ... stick with it Jason -- from this point on is when it starts to get a lot easier.

I love Mark Twain.
more quotes from him:
"I have made it a rule never to smoke more than one cigar at a time."
"If I cannot smoke in heaven, then I shall not go."
"Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times."
"It has always been my rule never to smoke when asleep, and never to refrain when awake."
"The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not."
-Matt (currently smoking a Parliament Light)

I'm not trying to convince people to smoke (hardly!), I admire those who quit because they want to. But I don't understand why some people refuse to do whatever makes them happy. I guess they're suffering now so that they can suffer later.

16 bucks a carton!?! Around here, I'm lucky if I can get a pack of camels for under 5 bucks. It's cheaper to smoke crack, or so I hear every day from my crew at work. I've got to hand it to the swiss. Thanks for posting the link.

If you look down the bottom of that smoke page, there is a small photo of a chain of people walking through a field. Are they on a cigarrette hunt?
Are they forming a giant hug across a tobacco field?? |
