I am having problem when I am installing the EOS solution disk. It's installing all the programs. But when it comes to installing the Canon Camera Eos 10D WIA driver it's giving me this message.

1608: Unable to create install driver instance.

I am running Windows 2000 as my operating system.

Help :)

try going to canon.com and see if they have a driver for win2000. you can then download it and install it.

before you try to install the drivers, are you loged in as an administrator? Windows 2000 will not let you install a driver unless you are. You could also try this //alpha03.c-wss.com/wsss/ApplServlet?RQF=MAIN&RQS=WWUCA103&LA=1060546078633&SV=WWUCA104&TRF=MAIN
