This feels like deja vu....my 2 sec score did the slight up and down 7.0-7.4-7.0 stuff and ended up being just shy of the ribbons. Guess this one is gonna miss too. :-( I'm feeling quite jinxed right about now.

Ok. . .I know how painful 4th or 5th place with a 7+ score can feel, but it's hard to think of any score of 7.1 as jinxed. Wow! Two 7's in a row!

I would so love to share in that pain.

yes, most of us suffer a pain of a different kind...

I fear what looked like a solid 6.5 entry will be lucky to end the challenge even a full point lower. *lol*

I guess 5.5+/- isn't bad. Just I had much more hope for this shot. Especially, as it was right before my 20D went on the fritz....again. So when you work hard on a shot and even have your camera DIE during the shoot. You hope to see good results. And things started out wonderfully. Much higher than normal but have plummeted since. *shrug*

Hmph. Guess I misjudged the appeal of this photo.. the decline has been rather steady.

I truly thought it would be doing better than this, and I'm pretty honest with myself on the quality of my images (whether I personally like them or not).

Wish I knew why its not doing as well as I'd hoped/imagined. At least the only comment is a positive one so not everyone is voting it downward. That said, its only the first day still, so maybe the end of the week will see some improvement and additional comments. :)
