I think "Nothing is Forever" would be a great challenge. It would give lots of room for artistic interpretation. The photographer could photograph almost anything because nothing is forever. It would be interesting to see what people would come up with. |

Elaborate on what you mean, "Nothing is forever", what is the actual challenge? What would we have to do? |

I think I'm going to join Setzler and take break from "doesn't meet the challenge thing" for awhile and do some freelancing!
My last challenge photo has comments like this:
ok??
ugh
huh?
Crack whore
Time for vacation :-)

this idea could be very similar to a death challenge.
How about wording it all together... like a "the end" challenge... |

All you would have to do is to photograph your interpretation of things or attitudes or ANYTHING that doesn't last forever. |

Yes, it could all tie together. "The End" would be good. |

Yeah, pitsaman, you're probably right. That seems to be the favorite comment around here. I have gotten lots of those. Many of the commenter's minds sure aren't geared towards artistic expression on any level. |

Good shot but no title. 6
How's that for a comment? At first I thought, "That comment is worthless!" But after sleeping on it I think it's the most helpful one of all this week. It helps me understand that people aren't here to judge the photos alone. Comments like that are subtle reminders that we are all unique and have different views.
For what it's worth, I am one of those extremists who thinks that a photo should stand on it's own without the help of a title.

I also think a photo should stand on it's own. I never thought that titles were very important. I find it hard to believe that anyone actually downgrades because of such a silly thing! |

This sounds like it would be fun. We would need to get our thinking caps on.

I think a challenge on the theme "THE END" would be cool.

The truth is people stuck for the theme,if your picture doesn't have 100 % theme coverage, will get bombarded with 1's and doesn't meet the challenge comments!
Like this Country fly photo got 7 1's. |
