Whats your favorite photography quote?? I have found 2 that I think are great...
- [Photography] is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever . . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

"f/8 and be there"
I've got no idea who said it, but it reminds me to sometimes just keep it simple and shoot stupid. |

"After an hour or two at sea,
My Passport Photo looks like me!"
Author unknown ( to me )
Though it sounds a bit like something Ogden Nash would write, so I'll credit him with it, unless / until I'm corrected. |

When I was in my printers office the other day, they have a poster up with the quote
"Voyeur: you capture light, the entrantress, and bend her to your likeness"
I loved it! Don't know who wrote it though - anyone heard it?
Nic

It's not so much a good quote on photography, but an amusing anecdote my brother saw on a photography shop window: "Hang the family, shoot the wife and blame the kids!"

To capture the essence in a single photograph is absurd. The essence is captured while photographing.
I just made that up.(I hope nobody else said that):)

If we're making up our own quotes now, my most often used one is:
"drat!"
