This will sneak up on us rather quickly. I am very interesting in getting together with anyone who wants to go to the Poppy Preserve in early march or early April. I am free the first 2 weekends of March and April.
I will keep an eye on the Wildflower Update, but please post your thoughts and availability here. Hope to see you!

Actually, it means I'd have to scrape up a reason to get back to LA... I'll start digging, LOL.

So, it's not been raining much. What does this mean to experienced poppy photographers? I am very excited about this get-together, but am worried that there won't be a good bloom this year.
The weekends I can go are:
Feb 25/26
Mar 4/5
Mar 11/12 (12th is better)
Apr 1/2
Apr 15/16
Apr 22/23
Apr 29/30
I know we won't know which is a good bloom or day to go til it gets closer, but I just wanted to put these dates out there. Of course, if another weekend is better for you, please plan to go then. I can join on any of these dates or we can just compare pix after :)
I look forward to seeing you all! It's been too long!

I'll just play it by ear; if it seems thaty'all are settling on a date that could work, I'll look at getting my butt out there. I'd love to spend a weekend just shooting :-)
