Frisca, Yes I know what you mean. I never intend to be rude. For instance, if I wrote a comment like:

"i find the subject boring, the colours over-saturated and poorly focused. And what is that white blot doing there? I dont get this photo at all."

would you find the comment above as rude? Sometimes when I finished writing something like that, and I feel that it might offend the photographer, i simply erased it, voted on the pic and move on without leaving a comment. For me, the comment as above is treated as constructive, but maybe to others it is plain rude?

Adagio is also a musical term signifying "slowness" or deliberation.

I wanted to state that I don't really think that people should be singled out in the forums. The last time this happened, we lost a very good photographer from the site.

Giving comments on a photos is one thing a photographer wants, either good or bad comment as long as it is not hurting. One hurting comment is when he/she gives bad comment on my work then compares it to his/her photo and mentioning tuckless words. For me this is rude comments and it is not helpful. If someone says "the subject is boring, needs focus etc. " well that is an honest opinion and it's not a rude and hurting opinion.

I agree with Heather -- the forums are not the place to single out any user on the site. If you have a problem with a specific user on the site, you may contact the administrators with your complaint. I'm going to lock this thread now.

Best,
Drew
