To those who read my topic title, I'm new to photography. I have been browsing this site and I absulutly adore the photos people take, and I'm very interested in learning about it. The thing is I don't know that much about it, but everyone's gota learn from somewhere right :)? My question is, I was wondering if someone had enough extra time on their hands if they could teach me a thing or two about it, and basic editing skills aswell. I have Adobe Photoshop CS but I only know how to do a few things.
Anyways my MSN messenger addy is : mtblin@hotmail.com~
For those of you who wish to help please add me here, thanks.
Kind regards,
-Melanie

Photoshop can be a long learning curve, but the curve can be shortened... pick up this book, it will be one of the best investments you can make to gain skill in Photoshop.
As far as photographic skills, browse, read, emulate, learn. There's no more powerful tool than trying to duplicate shots that appeal to you. Failure is often the best teacher, BTW.

Welcome, Melanie. This is the place to learn photography! One of the best things to do after doing a little reading is to jump right in and post a pic in a challenge - nothing to lose and one of the best tools for learning here.
Have fun! |

Heres some of the pictures I have taken, but like I said I don't know anything about editing so they are all unedited. My best pictures are probly of landscape so I'll post those. Remember, i'm new at this ;).
