Not happy at all. It would be unfortunate if he had to leave a garrison here....
He would also like to say that, those who did comment their future with the Empire will be a long a prosperous one.
Those who didn't however, have committed crimes against the Empire, are traitors, and part of the Rebel Alliance!
:Insert Vader breathing here:
Well that could have gone better....to those who run across this little thread and didn't vote this well could you please tell me why? Not trying to rant just looking to get some extra feedback.
Thanks!

I sense much anger in you, young Skywalker.
I didn't vote on this one. Didn't comment. But here's to your future shots and may the voters be with you....
To comment quickly on photo: I feel like the shot looks like it is in night vision gone red, or possibly thru water. I know it is not, but there is something about the lighting that makes it feel not clear...

That IS unfortunate! I gave the image an 8. I really love the dramatic red lighting and Vader's pose. I love it! and I hear Vader's intro music when I look at it too. *DUN DUN DA DUN DUN DA DUN...* well, ya know how it goes. :) |

A low voter has been spotted :P
Cool shot. Didn't vote but would've scored a "7"

I'll admit, gave it a 4 w/o comment. 2nd look tells me I probably let my negative feelings for Star Wars and all associated artifacts thereof influence me. Deeper examination tells me I should have bumped to 5-6. Sorry |

Hi Steve,
I gave this shot a 5. To me, it met the challenge and had no technical imperfections.
Thought the composition was good; however, the brightness of the saber thingy overpowered the rest of the image. Not much of a Star Wars fan here, but realize this was the kind of thing that could have been intentional. I'm also not sure about the red - it was just a little too much for me. When I think of Vader I would imagine a cool color, like maybe blue. Lastly, overall the shot was kind of static. I mean - he's got his saber-thingy all set to go, but why? Where's the danger or impending action? Perhaps I was expecting more dynamics of confict within the frame. The focal point seemed too inanimate -- now that I see it was a cake topper it makes more sense.
Hope this helps,
Laurie |

Cutter, Thank you as well for your comments. I'll keep this in mind for future shots of the Dark Lord, but I'm not sure how he will take criticism on the use of his LightSaber as the primary light source of his personal portraits. ;)

Mark,
No worries and no need to say sorry for voting how you feel, no one ever said you have to love Star Wars. Well, don't tell that to Vader. ;) Thanks for your comment!

Laurie,
WOW! Thank you, for your comment. That's wonderful to hear a great critique of this shot. One of the best I've had in a while, it really helps getting feedback like this, thank you again!
Steve
