well, it's a transition from day to night...

I half thought about this but then realised that it is probably going to be about as popular as water shots - relatively easy to find , etc

I'd agree. I've created a few rules for myself when submitting photographs for DPChallenge:

1) No flower shots
2) No sunset shots

I'm sure a few more rules will crop up as time goes by. :)

pssst... Langdon. Think you could slip those two into everyone else's rules, too? {g}

how do you take a picture of menopause?
04/17/2002 05:18:44 AM · #30
I don't know but I'm sure it must be done VERY CAREFULLY!

Is that wise. What if you worked for a publication and the assignment editor demanded the photo solution involve flowers or sunsets? Maybe a more valuable rule might be "when shooting common subjects find a unique way of shooting them." Just a thought. :)

Wow, this was hard. I haven't thought about anything else since Monday morning (performance at work was not very good this week ;o). I just submitted mine so I can finally concentrate on other things again. :o)

Yikes, 3 back to back. Doesn't each one need two backs then?

Doesn't it have to be 3, back to back ? Thankfully my last two entries have been getting steadily worse :)

Sunsets may be easy to find where you live, but not here! It started raining here this evening, and it's scheduled to continue through Sunday.

The planned subject for my shot is only two blocks away, but I may have to change it if the weather doesn't break.

Anyone who does the transition from Dr. David Banner to The Incredible Hulk gets a dollar from me.

a whole dollar??

Don't get your hopes up. You might can get Lou Ferrigno (the Hulk) but Bill Bixby (Banner) isn't around any more.

Yeah.. a dollar is worth a lot these days. Just dial 10-10....

You've already choosen a picture? i still can't decide. i want it to be something unique, but how do i know what other people are thinking? the first thing that poped into my head was, day to night, sunset, but i thought that was too easy. since then i've had so many ideas, but didn't know how to capture them, this is probably due to my lack in experience. i don't know. but, we'll see what happends.

I have an idea that I really like. Hopefully I can get it. My time frame is about an hour for the shot and is totally dependent upon chance whether or not it will happen. Have to wait until the weekend though, so if it doesn't work, I dunno

I've had one in mind from the outset. I've already shot about 50 shots trying to get it, but it's still not quite right. I have one more opportunity to get it right. If I cant get it, then maybe I'll do this challenge's water shot - melting ice. ;?)

How about this idea...

Hold up a cocoon, lit on fire, in front of a sunset????
