Can I use the panorama option of my cam to make a picture for a challenge ?

Yeah, as long as it from a single image and done wholy in-camera.

It can be multiple images as long as it's done in camera I believe...

I don't think your cell phone stitches the images together automatically. If your need to make a panorama of it after downloading them to your PC, it sure isn't legal.

My cell phone stitches the images together automaticaly. When I download it to pc I'm downloading only one picture - the ready panorama image

If that's the case, then, it *should* be ok if........it includes exif data.

That's how the SC determines that a shot was taken within the time-frame and not altered.

edit: changed would to *should*....I'm not SC, don't want to speak in absolute terms. :-)

Does it have EXIF info. If it does then you're golden.

I got some pics my friend took with that cell phone. Those had EXIF. You should check whether the panorama images still have EXIF though.
