Inukshuk...I landed on the rock 27 months ago,was screached successfully before I even knew whats happening:) Cann't call myself a Newfy but perhaps fall in the catagory of "poofy" according to "shawn Majumder" (just for laughs). First year was overwhelming with the intensity & heaps of snow. This year I learnt about Capelins & enjoyed the whales a lot and going to learn walking with those big snow shoes :)I am loving exploring this beautiful area but really miss the vegetation for those perfect Candian fall colors :'( Any tips where to go?
Wish I could see Aurora Borealis without going to stay in some remote Labrador area in winter (as I am told). Plzzzz keep me posted for any such chances. Thanks :) |
Hi Nonage, I enjoyed looking at your photos. I live in St. John's and it's always interesting to see how others photograph the city. |

Thanks for the link to your webshots album. I am a non-paying member (for now) so I don't have a portfolio. But you can check out my website if you like:

WOW Karen, your website about The Rock rocks :) I believe it has almost everything about the area. I have bookmarked your site and will be exploring it more in detail. Awsome job done. Thank you so much for sharing.
I especially like your selective desat albums in primary colors... very beautiful images and neat idea. You are obviously very talented lady and I am impressed & pleased to meet u :) I had webshot albums about last year veterans day which I later on deleted b'coz I really didn't know anyone, but looking at your coverage, I wish I hadn't done that.

I didn't see the fact that beer is way over priced and yet they still manage to get drunk daily. :D
