Greetings all,
A while back there was a posting by Sonifo regarding fall foliage, in which the possibility of a New Hampshire GTG in the Jackson / North Conway area was bantied about for somewhere around the first 2 weeks or so in October, anyone still interested??

I'm game, but just so you know that's not northern NH. It takes me almost 1.5 hours going southeast to get there from Lancaster, NH.
Actually, I was out today getting some pre-leafpeeper pictures.
I can't really say much though as I've only been in the state for three months and the North Conway area may be better than up here. I have no clue. |

Oh yeah, the trees are starting to change colors now. Within the next two to three weeks the leaves will be in full regalia (at least that's what my dad says). |

I may be able to make it up second weekend of October if my paycheck issues get worked out. |

Well, I live in Lancaster, so that's a good location for me. The only problem is I've only lived in the state for three months and don't know of any really good places to take anyone. So Lancaster probably isn't the best place to go. |

If it's not too far north, I might be interested. But I'd be driving up from MA (through the leaf-peeping traffic) so I might be able to make it up to the Conway/Lincoln area.
Definitely keeping an eye here for possible dates. |

There are some wonderful small old fashioned farm fairs in NH. The Sandwich Fair is Columbus day weekend and usually peak leaves. Its just lovely for photo ops. The carnival rides, the animal competitions, ox pulling teams, all surrounded by NH hills and farms in full color. New Hampshire Fair Dates |
