I read the other day the great cinematographer (DP) Guy Green died. It really got me thinking that a couple of my favorite photographers don’t shoot stills but moving pictures. Currently my favorite photographers areâ€Â¦
Galen Rowell
Nick Nichols
William Eggleston
Clyde Butcher
Conrad Hall (dp)
Ansel Adams
Sally Mann
Richard Avedon

Sandy Skoglund... Very interesting images. Did she do Radioactive Cats? I really loved that image.
Edit:
Yea, she did radioactive cats. I remember seeing that photo is Life's greatest photos of the 80s.

Jim Zuckerman is an awesome photographer. I love his use of color and i love the strength his colors carry. something i am trying to learn how to do myself!

I cant belive that Henri Cartier-Bresson hasn't been mentioned, the master of the decicive moment. If Adams is the master of waiting for the light to be there, Cartier-Bresson was the master of capturing the perfect action. |

why run n hide? Anne Geddes is a wonderful portrait photographer with her own unique spin on portrait poses. I love alot of her work before she became so commercialized
