Go ask Alice... when she's ten feet tall.

That's the funniest thing I've read in weeks! Oh wait, you weren't talking about your grandpa, where you?

That's only a theory.
I would ask for unlimited wishes.

Why not just ask for boobs that don't need a bra...natural full and firm without the sag? Then you wouldn't need a bra and .......never mind. I'm taking this thought too far. |

I think having an impossible lens would ruin the fun of photography. I mean, I don't even want a 28-300L IS...
I think I'll wish for new socks...

Well Cloud, well spoken and if nothing else you have made me think, hell I have even picked up a couple of my old books. I could only come up with one example that proves nothing really. This would be Hitler (power), and his followers (fear), without his followers (fear), he had no power, but this really doesn't say much.
Probably just one of those questions, that really has no answer. I am a history freak though, so I will turn now to some readings I haven't read in a while. Thank you! |

You've made me think as well, thank you! May I recommend that you look into African history? It provides seemingly endless examples of European Imperialism which imposed borders and division (and power struggles) between tribes that lead to much of the ongoing war that we see there now. Fascinating and depressing... |

...popped out of a bottle, and gave you 1 (one) wish to do or have ANYTHING you wanted, how would you spend that wish? Why?

Killing the thread, yes.
But, these creative thinking questions are not supposed to be bound to four walls, but in fact, these questions are to open up the mind and to see where they may go.
Killing the thread? expected. Opening up the thought process? questionable.

Well, back to the lab...

Reading this from the start it seems there are two main thoughts running through it: world affairs and boobs!
Probably about par for the course!

I'm absolutely fascinated by both. Of course, my wife would rather I play with world affairs so she can finally get a good night's sleep. |

I would ask to bring my Dad back and make my family whole again. I lost him to cancer May 9th, 2005.

I would have to be greedy in my wish but it would benifit two of the most important people in my life(my girls)
My wish would be for my back and legs to not be so damaged and painful. I like to refer to myself as a "Toys r us" kid( I dont want to grow up) i would love to be able to teach my girls how to do cartwheels, back flips and round offs(like i used to do on a balance beam) or to get down on the floor and actually play with them like i used to do with my nieces before my back got hurt. i miss being me because of pain and stiffness. it hasnt dampened my personality(energetic,playful...kind of clown like)a bit...just wishes......
ok..just realized i might be pulling the thread down so back to your regularly scheduled goof'n :o)

1. A bra that fits, supports, is beautiful, and comfortable at the same time. If we can land on the moon, why is this so damned difficult?
2. A food substitute that gives 100% of all necessary vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, carbs, and whatever else we need to function at an effective level, but is low in calories and tastes like brownies.
3. Restraining bolts for my children. Well, at least the 5 year old...the other two I can handle but when you add in that third one, yikes! ;)
4. A 10-1200mm f/2.8 lens that weighs less than a pound and is made of perfect, L-quality glass. ;) ;) |

I certainly wish that for each and everyone of you.
I experienced the tragic loss of chilldren on 2 occasions, the last being on Christmas Day 1985... and I fear that the feelings of devastation and helplessness have never completely left me.
It is not the kind of pain I would wish on my worst enemy...
