Yeah ... if I see another photo of liquid splashes or droplets I'm gonna scream :) I'm not saying that I'm marking them down, because some are extremely good, and I wish I could take something like that.

gee ... just had a look back at the voting page ... a fair few have been disqualified already ... (hope not yours shortredneck)

My object was moving!!!!! In fact I was amazed that my camera has the ability to capture such quick movement. Oh the indignity of it all!!! Please people think about your votes.

I got this same comment, although I thought I did real well for my first entry and at least mine was very origional. I guess I am not too disappointed, I will keep working at it.

No at least it hasn't been disqualified. My scores are indicating that everyone seems to believe I set it up. This is the very thing I was afraid of. I guess if I thought it was good enough to be in contention for placement I would really be pitching a hissy fit. There are a few really great photos. I have a couple in mind that should get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

I'm a bit dissapointed with the entries - maybe just because the 'curves' entries were fantastic.

I think this one has challenged people a whole lot more - all the nice technical concerns have flown out of the window in the face of the challenge of just stopping the damn thing!

Mind you, my favourite entries in the curves challenge hardly even rated, so who am I to judge. It was interesting to look at the split between voters and photographers on the curves catagory though - Especially the placing of 'eleven'

hmmmm ... didn't notice that b4. Maybe we should see the stats for votes cast and voter numbers split between photogs and voters as well. 'cd822' must have ranked quite low on the photog list to drop from 3rd on the voter table to 12th overall

I thought there were a lot more great pictures on this challenge than the previous ones that I've voted on. The number of photos I gave 8 and 9 ratings was far higher. I guess I'm partial to sprays of water.

I have taken a lot of pictures in the last free days trying for that elusive shot. I've taken several "almosts". My biggest complaint is that my digital camera has a delay before it takes the shot. I'm always just off. I try to anticipate.... ugh. What am I doing wrong or how can I get it to take the action I'm looking for? Help

my sony digital camera has a delay but to open the aperature when I want it opened I have to push the button down till this green circle is solid on the screen than the camera works when I want it to
