Will using Spyder2 to calibrate my monitor insure that my photos printed at online photo printers such as Kodak, Fuji,Shutterfly, Winkflash,Snapfish,Ofoto etc match pretty close to what I see on my monitor?

If not what else needs to be done? Are there particular sites that print pictures that match calibrated monitors better?

I use Paitshop Pro to do my editing, does it matter which editor I use?

Thanks for any info!

A calibated monitor will go a long way toward mending the issue, not mecessarily all the way. The print service provider is probably expecting an sRGB file (they may, unless told otherwise, ignore any embedded color space information and assume sRGB). If you send them a file that looks right on your calibrated monitor, and you are editing it in the sRGB color space, or have converted to that space after editing in a different space, then it should come out fine. They should apply the profile for their printer upon sending it for printing.

Calibrating your monitor is half the battle. You then need to get the profile for the printer you will use (some are available at //www.drycreekphoto.com/ look in the database). You have to apply both your monitor profile and the printer profile in your image editing program, and then you can see on the monitor what the printout will look like.

The Dry Creek Photo website has tutorials that explain how to use the monitor profile and the printer profile.
