Just thought I'd tell you about another image thief, stealing images from DPC. discraft originally brought it to my attention - thanks discraft

STOLEN IMAGE

I emailed the admins and the thief and asked them to remove the image. I think the admins deleted it on the same day, which was good news.

However the same guy appears to have uploaded the image again yesterday. I have again requested that the admins delete his version.

I thought you guys might like to wander around and see if there may be other images of ours over there.

Why don't these idiots just get a friggin' life. What satisfaction can be gained by receiving praise from work that isn't your own.

A good savage beating with a bamboo cane sounds about right.

As the website is in portuguese, I'll be posting something as a comment on the shot, and then email the admins to let them know about it!

We all seem to lolok out for one another here and tens of thousands of eyes are a lot better than one. If I see any photo that comes from here somewhere else I always check it out. I havew done this before and notified the person here it was stolen from. Works out quite well. These idiots will be taken down.

It portuguese, and I can speak it (it's the idiom I speak).
Already sent a complaint to the website admins, with links to the author (Facl) and a link to the challenge in which it appeared, and a link that goes straight to the image, itself!

Lets see what happens

I have already done that. I have no answer so far, but in the site he indicates that his page was deleted already and he r-eplaced it. Hope it will be banned this time.

What a poor life some people must have.
Anyway, I am Portuguese. In spite of the fact that scuds already made a formal complaint, I made another (only now did I read bhis post). Let's wait and see.
The site itself is well regarded in Portugal and Brasil, and gets a ton of photos a day (800+). There are some really nice pics over there, check it out if you can (if you can understand Spanish, you will get the hang of it). Most of the people that hang out there are real talented people, not like this a** h**e.
I am disgusted and ashamed.

There had been a theft some time ago with one of Gary's (kiwiness) pictures. How did that one end?

(Had he posted it simply to vote and to praise and credited the original author, that'd be one thing. But this is just dumb...what a LOSER!)

I have opened an account over there, its awaiting admin acceptance. I will load up the ORIGINAL and make sure I reference the thiefs account. I hop that way that he won't be able to upload the same image again without everyone on the site recognising that he is a thief.

Not certain,but I believe there is disclaimer on the right side stating the owner of this shot,and I think he is apologizing for posting it,in the space directly above the disclaimer...
