I went over to the Giants game on Sunday. Here are a few shots that I took with my 70-300mm Nikon lens. Feel free to leave any comments.

is it just me or image #1 and 2 seem a bit oversharpened? or too contrasty? great pics! what was the metering set to? Av?

Well I didn't change the sharpening or contrast in PS. I did do some selective color adjustment.

Great shots(and good game on Sun too). I'm a big Giants fan and love shooting at the games.

GREAT shots, Dave. my fav is the last one. you did a great job with all of them - very nice action shots, and the colors are wonderful and rich.

Thanks for the comments. I hope all is well back in Norfolk. I saw your question about the lens that I used, so here you go. I really need to get better at posting all of my settings when I upload pictures.

Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6G (this is a REALLY affordable lens...I got mine for 109.00 from B&H)

Thanks for posting that...i think we have that lens, but i never reach for it. I typically use my 50 mm/1.8. Thanks for the info!
